My "Retirement". There are rumors circulating about my
imminent retirement which are completely false. There is no
question that my wife and I are anxious to move to the Southwest
not only to leave winter behind but also to be closer to our
daughters. It is hard to believe but I will have been in
practice for 30 years by the summer of 2009. Although I would love to
be in Arizona tomorrow, I have both an ethical and moral responsibility
to my patients to see to it they are cared for in this transition.
In reality, this is more of a relocation than retirement because I
fully intend to continue practicing orthodontics in my new locale.
Quality Care. Deerwood Orthodontics is a group that prides itself on
providing orthodontic services second to none. The group
currently consists of 9 orthodontists at 14 locations in Wisconsin
with more on the way. As part of the acquisition of my practices
in both locations they also entered into a work agreement with me that
will provide for the smooth transfer of patients into the care of a
new provider prior to my departure. The initial term of my
agreement runs until December 1, 2009 although it may be possible that
I will depart sooner if all is going well. Deerwood Orthodontics
and American Dental Partners acquired my
practice because of the quality of care I am known to
provide. They will seek a successor that shares the same goals
and aspirations in quality of service to your family. Everything
will be done to make this transition comfortable to you. Thank
you for your continued trust and confidence.
